UC Berkeley musicologist and early keyboard performer Davitt Moroney presents a workshop on how to play ornaments in English keyboard music, especially compositions by Byrd and other composers in the Fizwilliam Virginal Book. The workshop will be held Sunday, February 10, 1-5 pm, at the home of Kathy Perl in San Francisco. In addition to Kathy Perl's lovely instruments, Professor Moroney will bring his John Phillips muselar virginals for the event. This is a combination lecture and master class.
