Cutting Edge New Opera Theatre by Rockit Opera Music Productions and First Look Sonoma
In April of 2014, three performances of the opera, SAGA of the 21st Century Girl, composed by WEKA member, Sheli Nan, were presented at Osher Studio in Berkeley Repertory Theatre.

“…I thought the show was a total blast. The orchestration was on the chamber music scale, and I found the choice of the alto flute to be an exotic and haunting sound. The singing was virtuosic, with difficult and complicated melodies, peppered with land mines of unexpected rhythm and meter changes, expertly navigated, even in unisons and thirds. I loved the romp!
