Carol lei is featured in this fascinating video introduction to the clavichord, an instrument beloved in the 18th century for its expressivity. The instrument and its history, literature, construction and technique is explored with commentary by instrument builder, Paul Irvin, and performances by Carol lei and other WEKA friends. Music includes works by JS Bach, CPE Bach, Haydn, and the modern composers, Howell and Paschal.
